What is the studio schedule?
Our lessons are offered at the following times and locations:
- LA Studio (Koreatown): Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays
- OC Studio (Fullerton): Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Can I choose the specific time and day for my lesson?
To book a lesson, please contact me first. I will be happy to share my current availability, and you can choose the time and day that works best for you.
Please understand that my schedule is typically about 90% full with current students, so spaces for new students are limited. If you can only attend lessons on a specific day or time that is currently unavailable, I will gladly add your name to the waitlist and notify you as soon as an opening becomes available.
Do you offer a free consultation or trial lesson? Can I stop by to look at the studio?
Unfortunately, we do not offer free consultations or trial lessons. If you would like to have a consultation with me, you will need to book the first lesson. We also ask that you do not stop by without an appointment as lessons may be in progress.
How often should I take lessons?
Once a week is ideal for consistent progress. If your work or study schedule makes this difficult, you may choose to take a lesson once every two weeks. However, please be aware that taking lessons less frequently will typically slow your progress by about half.
Do I need to own my own guitar?
Yes, you do need your own guitar for home practice between lessons. If you don't currently own one, that's okay! You can come to the first lesson without a guitar. Based on your needs and goals, I will provide personalized recommendations on what kind of instrument you should purchase.
Recommendation: Since there are many different types of guitars, if this is your first time learning, I highly recommend consulting with me during your first lesson before making a purchase.
I’m an intermediate player. Can I only focus on a specific technique or music genre?

Can I join an existing group lesson?
We do not offer open group lessons that you can join. Group lessons are reserved only for friends or family members who wish to take lessons together, and only if all participants are complete beginners.
